Same Suck - Different Day
You may have noticed that the updates on this site have slowed down, a bit. I can guarantee that it’s not for the lack of Second Life sucking, at all. I have, myself, taken a short break from posting about all things that suck about SL, and have even uninstalled the viewer from my computer.
This site is still open to your suggestions, ideas, stories, and anything else that has to do with SL sucking, so go ahead and register to become an author and post your own.
Meanwhile, I’ll be doing something a little more interesting.

SL is sooo boring. I mean if your not into all the role playing and having sex with a avatar there really isn’t much for you to do. I mean at first I would spend hours on SL. I thought it was pretty cool that I could meet people from all over the world. But, then came to realize more then half the population in SL are there cause there RL sucks and want a relationship. Which of course starts off innocent just in SL and then it gets going and then BOOM! SL and RL merge and then everything is just messed up. Needless to say I think a lot of people in RL take SL way to serious and they forget that SL is just a game.
I am almost one year in SL now, it started for me as an interesting communication platform, this to the fact that I am mostly away from home for my work and most of the time alone, so instead of sitting in the pubs every evening I could meet interesting people from allover the world on-line, but damned ………..after 1 year;
*lost +/-7500 US$(purchased an island + linden tier + extra tax suddenly due to the fact that I am an european)
*most of the people in SL are just a bunch of idiots or more than frustrated because of there Real lifes
*I never have seen a project running in Real life constantly in beta phase !!!!
*and now i am turning my avatar into a psycho killer …. I start to like to kill people in sl (lmao)
what is my lesson learned ? well that i am gonna leave sl and going back to the pubs, where i can meet real people with real stories ;o)

I’ve been on SL for–God help me–one year and five months. For me SL’s sucking is primarily related to performance issues. I’m running SL on a non-Intel Mac, and SL on a Mac sucks worse than you can imagine! I get 3 or 4 times the lag compared to my PC-using friends. The Lindens don’t seem to be interested in improving performance. I am hoping that the whole thing finally grinds to a halt this year, so that they will be FORCED to rewrite the whole thing, rather than adding band-aid on top of band-aid to an inefficient, bloated, overburdened system. Oh, and my SL friends have lost their minds, and are into SL “relationships” (lol!), SL marriages, SL drama… . It’s caused me to ask myself, “Were they really this crazy to begin with, or did SL slowly drive them mad?” I believe it’s mostly the latter. No one was taking SL this seriously in the beginning.
the problems who raised last 2 weeks are only increasing, had a discussion with sidewinder linden (lmaooooo) in the sl blog section (which if ya want to have a laugh, please read them) yeah, hahhah ……. omg … rofl
SHUT THE WHOLE THINK DOWN for at least 2-3 months and even consider not to start it up again !
