Nicholaz’s Moment of Truth
Nicholaz “The Mad Patcher” Beresford has given up trying to patch the Second Life open source viewer, claiming that he simply doesn’t have the time, but in the same sentence he says, “… but to be true to myself and you, probably even if I had, I’d be no longer willing to put up with Bullshit™ any more.”
This is a big blow to Linden Labs “effort” to open source the viewer, since Nicholaz’s work on the source was considered to be at the forefront of the SL open source movement. Many people considered the “Nicholaz Edition” of the Second Life viewer to be one of the best.
