Although I’ve been involved in Second Life at many different levels over the past year, I took a step back at one point and realized the truth. I realized that no matter what is done in Second Life, none of it mattered… NONE OF IT! No matter what is done “in-game” there are no real life changes being made for any good. All of the time and money spent on virtual items, virtual land, virtual businesses, and virtual relationships that have been wasted is just overwhelming.
When you have a chance to step back and take a look back in from the outside, the realization hits.

The instability of the platform, the grid, the client, combined with periods of complete outages, missing tools (like search), missing and lost inventory and many more problems that plague Second Life are only “some” of what makes Second Life suck. There are plenty of other reasons that this web site will touch on.
At times, we will highlight and point to important stories and at times we will give our own editorial style opinions on various things that directly affect residents of Second Life. All valid comments (not spam or overly offensive) will be published, unedited, whether they agree or disagree with our point of view. We do reserve the right to remove any offensive comments. If you have a concern about any of the comments that are posted, you may send us an email, and we will look into it, immediately.
For our protection, we do not use our Second Life avatar names when posting stories on this site. When leaving comments on this site, you are free to do the same. We do not require that you disclose you SL name or RL name in order to contribute to the conversation, however, a valid email address is required.
This is a Second Life criticism web site and does not intend to violate any trademark or cause customer confusion. All things that are posted as “factual” on this web site have been and will be verified to be true, to the best of our knowledge. There will be various opinions, which of course, will not be able to be proven true or false. Opinions are those of their respective writers, whether they are the author of an article or post, or the author of any comments.
